Courtney A. Morgan Courtney A. Morgan-Greene joined Humberto R. Gray, A Professional Law Corporation in 2006. She is an expert in the areas of entertainment, athletics, business, employment and family Immigration.

Courtney A. Morgan-Greene was nominated to the Los Angeles Human Relations Commission by Mayor Eric Garcetti on May 27, 2014. Commissioner Morgan-Greene was confirmed by the Los Angeles City Council on July 1, 2014.

Courtney earned a Juris Doctor from LOYOLA LAW SCHOOL, LOS ANGELES in 2006. She is a Member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Courtney completed her undergraduate studies at the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AT BERKELEY, earning a Baccalaureate degree in Political Science in 2000.

Courtney studied International Law at the University of Bologna in Bologna, Italy. She served on the Boards of the Black Law Student Association and Loyola Law School’s Young Lawyer Mentorship Program for inner city high school students.

Courtney has a long record of providing legal service to underserved communities. She conducted death penalty investigations with The California State Habeas Corpus Resource Center and clerked for the Los Angeles County Public Defender, NAACP Legal Defense Fund, L.A. GLC, Alliance for Children’s Rights and Humberto R. Gray, A Professional Law Corporation.

Courtney was an inaugural member of the Loyola Law School Center for Juvenile Law and Policy’s Juvenile Justice Clinic and made appearances in Los Angeles County Superior Court on behalf of indigent children in the justice system. Upon graduation from Loyola Law School, Courtney received the Dean’s Award for her commitment to the public interest.
